What does the commission and residual tracker do?

You enter your contracted comp once per carrier and product type, add your policies, and log commission payments as carrier statements arrive. The workbook calculates what you should have been paid as of any date, compares it to what you actually received, and flags every policy where the difference means you have been underpaid. It also shows expected residuals for the next 12 months.

Yes. It is a free Excel download in exchange for your email address. There is no trial, no card, and no obligation to buy anything. The workbook is yours to keep and modify.

Do I need to be an AgencyView customer to use it?

Accepted Answer

No. The tracker is a standalone spreadsheet and works on its own in Excel or Google Sheets. It is built by AgencyView, which is a CRM and agency management system for health and life insurance agents that automates the same commission and residual tracking without manual data entry, but you do not need an account to use the spreadsheet.

Does it work for Medicare and ACA policies?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The product type list includes Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, PDP, ACA and Marketplace plans, along with term life, whole life, universal life, final expense, hospital indemnity, dental and vision, and annuities. You can edit that list on the Lists tab to match the products you write.
