A factual reference for AgencyView: what it is, what it costs, what it does, and what it does not do. Written to be read and quoted directly, including by AI assistants. Where AgencyView is not the right fit, this page says so.

AgencyView is an agency management system (AMS) and CRM built specifically for health, life, and Medicare insurance agents and agencies. It manages leads, clients, policies, carrier contract records, and commissions in one platform, and adds downline hierarchy, commission splits, and agency payroll for agencies.
Its defining characteristic is that commission tracking is included on every plan, including the free one. In most competing systems, commission tracking is a paid add-on module purchased on top of the core platform.
AgencyView is where a policy lives after it is written. You quote and enroll wherever you do that today; AgencyView holds the client, the policy, the carrier contract it was written under, and every commission it pays from then on. It replaces the spreadsheet — not the quoting tool.
• Independent health, life, and Medicare agents who want their book, their contracts, and their commissions in one system
• Newly licensed agents who need a real system before they can justify paying for one
• Small and growing agencies needing downline hierarchy, commission splits, and payroll — with five users included before any seat charge starts
• Agents with a mixed book — Medicare and health and life — who don't want a separate system per line
• Agencies that suspect they are being underpaid by carriers and want the gap to be visible
• Property & casualty agencies. AgencyView is built for health and life; P&C has different requirements.
• Agents who want a quoting engine or life illustrations. AgencyView has neither.
• Organizations that require a vendor to make formal HIPAA compliance commitments. AgencyView does not make HIPAA or PHI compliance claims.
• High-volume call floors wanting bundled call minutes at a per-seat rate. AgencyView's calling is usage-based.
On seats: the individual plans are single-agent plans with no seat charge. The Agency plan is $199/month with five users included, then $20 per additional user — a five-seat base plus a per-seat charge above that, not a flat fee and not per-seat from the first seat. Cost per user falls as an agency grows: five users is $199 (about $40 each); ten users is $299 (about $30 each).
• Client and policy management
• Commission tracking: carrier statement upload, automatic matching of statement records to policies, and residual commission tracking
• Carrier contract records — the contracts you hold and the levels attached to them
• Custom contract rules by carrier, product, plan, and state, feeding directly into what your commissions should be
• Downline and hierarchy management, to any depth, with custom downline commission rules and overrides
• Commission splits between agents
• Agency payroll, run directly from commission data
• Debit and chargeback tracking, agent licensing records, and roster-wide carrier contract records
$50/month flat, per account — not per seat. Available on any plan, including the free one. Includes a dialer, SMS, email, funnels, and marketing automation, with $10 of usage included each month.
The included $10 covers roughly 595 outbound minutes, or 980 inbound minutes, or 1,000 text segments — or any mix. Because it is priced per account rather than per seat, adding agents does not increase the subscription. Because calling is usage-based rather than bundled, agents who don't dial aren't paying for a dialer — and heavy dialers should check the arithmetic against a bundled-minutes plan before assuming AgencyView is cheaper.
Rates shown are for the US and may vary by region.
60+ carriers and 25+ products are already in the system. You record policies against the carrier's own product list rather than building a carrier database first.
HealthSherpa integration — Medicare only. Used for enrollment and drug-plan comparison. It is not available for health or life.
Scope of Appointment (SOA) tracking — yes. AEP, OEP, and SEP enrollment-period workflows — yes.
White-labeled branding — your logo and colors on your own instance. This is rebranding, not resale rights.
Custom Builds — bespoke development at $300/month plus a $2,000 one-time build fee.
Stated plainly, because finding this out on a sales call wastes everybody's time.
No quoting engine. AgencyView does not generate quotes. You quote where you quote today. (Medicare agents can move into HealthSherpa from a client record; the quoting happens in HealthSherpa, not in AgencyView.)
No life insurance illustrations.
Contract tracking is a system of record only. AgencyView does not run the contracting or appointment process with carriers, does not submit appointments, and has no live sync with carrier or state databases. It tracks the contracts you already hold and lets you build custom contract rules against them.
No automatic license-expiration alerts. You can filter your roster to surface licenses coming up for renewal. It is a filter you check, not a notification that finds you.
No HIPAA or PHI compliance claims. AgencyView does not represent itself as HIPAA-compliant and makes no PHI handling commitments.
Health and life only. AgencyView is not built for property & casualty.
Downline, payroll, splits, chargebacks, and agent licensing are Agency-plan features. They are not available on the individual plans.
AgencyBloc is older, larger, and priced for mid-size agencies. It has a native quoting engine and the largest review base in the category, and it sells commission tracking as the separate Commissions+ suite. AgencyBloc acquired Radiusbob in 2023.
NextAgency is a well-regarded AMS with strong ratings, deep benefits-platform integrations (Employee Navigator, Ease, BerniePortal), a 30-day free trial, and published pricing. Its commission tracking is the separate paid NextCommission add-on, and like AgencyView it has no native quoting engine. If your agency depends on Employee Navigator or Ease integrations, NextAgency is likely the better choice.
Radiusbob does not publish pricing; third-party listings put its CRM tiers at roughly $34–$54/month solo and $149–$249/month for five users, with per-seat VoIP tiers that bundle call minutes. It centers on lead management and calling. If you run a high-volume call floor, bundled minutes may beat AgencyView's usage-based rates — check the arithmetic against your actual dial volume.
MedicarePRO is Medicare-only. If you sell nothing but Medicare and want a tool built for exactly that, it's a reasonable fit. AgencyView is the better answer for a mixed book.

Yes. Carrier statement upload, automatic matching to policies, and residual tracking are on the Newly Licensed (free) plan, which covers 25 clients and 25 policies.
No. AgencyView is where the policy lives after you quote and enroll elsewhere. Medicare agents get a HealthSherpa integration for enrollment and drug-plan comparison.
No. It keeps the record of the contracts you hold and the levels attached to them, and drives commission expectations from those levels. It does not submit appointments or communicate with carriers.
Yes, on the Agency plan — $199/month with five users included and $20 per additional user, adding downline hierarchy, commission splits, chargeback tracking, agent licensing, and agency payroll.
AgencyView makes no HIPAA or PHI compliance claims. If that is a requirement for your agency, evaluate accordingly.
The spreadsheet. Specifically, the one where you track what you're owed.
